Four-Ingredient Awesome Almond Energy Balls

Our favourite, delicious almond energy balls are the perfect go-to snack when you need a quick, delicious boost! With only four natural ingredients, they’re loaded with protein, fibre, and healthy fats, making them ideal for a post-workout treat or a nutritious pick-me-up throughout the day.

Ingredients

  • 300g almonds

  • 175g Medjool dates (approx. 9-10), pitted and halved

  • 3 Tbsp cocoa powder

  • 1 tsp natural vanilla extract

  • 1–2 tsp water, as needed

Method

  1. In a food processor, add the dates, cocoa powder, and vanilla extract.

  2. Blend on high for 30 seconds to 1 minute until the mixture begins to combine. Stop to check and add 1–2 tsp of water if the mixture appears too dry or isn't sticking together.

  3. Once blended, roll the mixture into 20 evenly-sized balls and place them on a tray.

  4. Refrigerate the energy balls until firm, and they're ready to enjoy!
