Coffee + Chocolate ‘Pick me Up’ Protein Shake

This quick and delicious shake is perfect after a morning session or whenever you need a clean energy boost. With a hit of coffee, rich cocoa, and a balanced blend of protein, carbs and healthy fats it’s a delicious and smart way to refuel your body and support recovery without the crash.

Ingredients

  • 1 shot espresso / or small cup of strong coffee (175ml)

  • 1 scoop vanilla protein powder

  • 1 banana

  • 1 tbsp almonds or nut butter

  • 1 tsp cocoa powder

  • 200 ml unsweetened almond or oat milk (or water for a lighter version)

  • Optional: pinch of cinnamon or cacao nibs

Method

  1. Add all ingredients to a blender.

  2. Blitz until smooth and creamy.

  3. Pour into a glass or shaker and enjoy straight away.
